A few minutes-ago, I picked-up this story about LFC making a visit ‘to’ Boston, and I read your-story/comments. Reading it gave me an idea!!! I have just written a new song about the ‘Reds’, and in this song I’ve written a few lyrics/words which I intend-to-be a subtle-message (a little ‘dig’) about/aimed-at / a ‘certain’ football-club, not a million-miles-away from Anfield! I wondered if it might be possible (!!!) IF I sent the lyrics/words over-to-you, could you possibly have some of your unbiased/un-involved members ‘vet’ them, and let me know (before I go into the ‘recording-studio’) IF these few words are ‘perceived/read/understood’ as I’ve intended them to be when ‘writing-them’ … It would be a shame if the intended subtlety (little ‘dig’ ) was not-immediately picked-up/spotted/heard/understood by any Reds fans hearing the song … My hope was/is that they’d immediately ‘spot/pick-up/understand’ my intentions and have, at least a ‘chuckle’, and perhaps even a good laugh (at you-know-who) !!! I would like the opinions of some genuine ‘REDS’ fans about these words/lyrics before I commit-myself, and go and ‘record’ them. Your people might be able to do just-that !!!
